I've patched a couple of bugs filed just recently, very simple fixes, and posted a new signed distribution, RC2.

http://shibboleth.net/downloads/prerelease/xerces-c/

I'd like to ask for a vote to release this build as 3.2.0 (svn rev is 1805935). I'll set a deadline of end of day Monday for voting, please.

Thanks to Roger, obviously, for all the help with this.

This is my +1

I've tested the RC2 on a range of systems, and they all passed. The
travis and appveyor builds are all green. I can't see any problems.

Roger

Roger, did you happen to test Visual Studio 2017 (VC15)?

I got a report from my colleague that it's missing a WIN32 define that's preventing one of my changes to the DateTime class from building there without adding it by hand.

If you didn't try that, I'll rescind the vote until I have a chance to debug it this week. We don't have a third vote yet anyway.

Looks like a false alarm or something environmental with the solution file it generated on his box, seems to work for me as expected.

But I do need a third vote.

I've just tried manual testing with VS2017 (latest update) and CMake
(3.9.1) with three combinations:

- "Ninja" from command prompt (x64 Debug)
- "Visual Studio 15 2017 Win64" (x64 Debug and Release in visual studio)
- "Visual Studio 15 2017" from command prompt (x86 Debug)

and all three built and passed the tests without any problems.

Roger

It's end of business day for me, so with three binding +1 votes and no objections, I'm calling this approved.

I will start the machinery tonight or tomorrow. I'm not sure if I have permission to publish the actual distributions (can't recall if I ever got that corrected) but I'll attempt that first once I tag and let Gareth fix it if I can't do it.
