The Xerces project has released a patch update, V3.1.2, and it is now available on the web site.
The list of bug fixes is available from Jira [1].
The web site has been updated with the new release. There are a few minor changes needed to pages here and there, which I will complete clean up on over the next couple of days.
There are a number of visible changes that will be noticeable, which I implemented at the direction of the PMC members I was in contact with:
- The V2.8 content has been removed from the web site, with the official-if-it-wasn't-already-official retirement of the V2 branch. The docs for that release can always be found in the source distributions of the older release.
- Due to resource constraints, there are no binaries provided with this release. They may or may not show up subsequently, that would depend on who would be willing to do them.
